Millennium Fellowship Project: Climate Nexus
We are a team passionate about climate change and how it affects different facets of our lives. the project is team work that includes several sub-project to pull resources, knowledge and experience to work out feasible solutions to climate related issues affecting our immediate community.
facets of the project includes:
- Climate sensitization.
-Afforestations
- New agricultural practices that are eco friendly (tomatoe storage)
- Recycling practice in the school community.
About the Millennium Fellow
I am Salihu Haruna Vatsa, the 7th child of a family of 15 children and also the third son and a passionate individual who is willing to learn everyday and also willing to impact the society in my own little way. A Nigerian born and brought in Abuja, Nigeria's capital and also studying Geomatics at Ahmadu Bello University. I am an artisan who specializes carpentry and cabinetry . I am an advocate of the Afforestation instead of deforestation because we all depend on plants to live.
