Millennium Fellowship Project: Zimbabwe Mindscape
As a Millennium Fellow, my project focuses on reducing drug abuse by educating young people, promoting self-discovery, and raising awareness about addiction. I plan to create an application that provides support, resources, and tools to help individuals overcome addiction. By sharing knowledge and offering practical solutions, this project aims to build a healthier, drug-free community and contribute to the goal of promoting good health and well-being.
About the Millennium Fellow
I'm Beverly Tashinga Mugwadi a student at African Leadership University, pursuing a degree in Software Engineering. I am passionate about stopping drug abuse, I grew up in a community deeply affected by substance abuse, witnessing its detrimental impact on many lives. I am also committed to empowering women, creating opportunities, and inspiring change within my community. Combining my technical skills with my desire for social impact, I seek to contribute to meaningful solutions that address these critical issues.
