" I understand the power of collaboration, especially when it comes to solving problems. As a Millennium Fellow, I cannot wait to interact with like-minded individuals with different experiences and ideas that will refine the ideas we have to make a better impact. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: TawaTech - Farmers' Profiling System

The project focuses on creating a Rice Production and Food Security Monitoring System to boost rice production, ensure food security, and create jobs in Sierra Leone. It aligns with the "Feed Salone" initiative, aiming for self-sufficiency in rice farming while promoting sustainable practices in Sierra Leone.
The system uses real-time data collection, advanced analytics, and machine learning to track rice yields, employment, and environmental sustainability. Key features include a Rice Production Tracker, Employment Dashboard, and Sustainability Dashboard, with tools for visualization and mobile access.
This initiative will help policymakers make better decisions, reduce reliance on imports, and support long-term agricultural growth and resilience.
