" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow(Campus Director) because it aligns with my mission to transform subsistence farming into commercial farming in Rwanda, creating jobs and reducing poverty. My vision is to empower youth and improve our rural communities, and this fellowship will help me gain valuable skills and support to make a real difference. I believe in leading by example and inspiring others to join in building a better future for World especially Africa. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: EmpowerED: College Readiness for High Schoolers.

EmpowerED is a project I'm passionate about because I believe in
the power of education to transform lives. I focus on training Grade
10 students from Remera Protestant School, equipping them with
essential skills needed for college applications. Many schools in
Rwanda lack resources to teach these vital skills. I guide these
students through the requirements and tips for university and
college applications. Additionally, I help them craft effective essays,
a crucial part of the application process.
My motivation stems from my own background. I faced financial
demanding situations growing up and now, via the assist I acquired,
I'm pursuing a diploma in entrepreneurial management. This
assignment is my manner of giving again to my network. I want
those younger minds to graduate high college with the vital
equipment to confidently practice to better training institutions.
By providing those capabilities, I goal to empower these students,
making sure they have a truthful hazard to pursue higher education
despite the obstacles they'll face. EmpowerED focuses on making
a meaningful difference in the lives of those college students,
making ready them for a brighter destiny.
