Millennium Fellowship Project: A Thirst for Tomorrow

EcoSpring is a non-profit initiative aimed at providing underserved and rural communities in Nigeria access to fresh drinking water. Our primary goal is to implement sustainable systems that ensure clean drinking water while also protecting and preserving the local biodiversity and ocean habitats being destroyed by human activities. Our project will be located in the rural areas of the southeastern part of Nigeria, where access to clean and safe drinking water is critically limited.

About the Millennium Fellow

Hello, I'm Frank Onyema Orji, a Rwanda-based student pursuing a degree in Software Engineering at The African Leadership University. I am passionate about conservation, particularly in protecting wild and ocean lives and our precious freshwater resources, and have been actively involved in wild and ocean life economy research with the African Leadership University School of Wildlife Conservation. Through my academic and personal experiences, I have become deeply committed to promoting sustainable water management practices and the protection of endangered wild and ocean life animals.
In my free time, I enjoy volunteering for local environmental causes, particularly in my school, and exploring natural areas in Rwanda. When I want to relax and unwind, I like reading inspiring books on conservation and watching documentaries or trying out eco-friendly lifestyle practices, especially in my local community.
