African Leadership University Rwanda | Kigali, Rwanda | Advancing SDG 13, SDG 2 & UNAI 9

" I am excited about that because it provides a platform to connect with like minded people and also develop sustainable solution for our communities. I do that because I believe in the power of entrepreneurship and have seen it in the past uplifting lives for vulnerable people, business or social enterprise can transform lives and, in turn, change the world itself. As leader we have the power to ensure that the next generation will not only live in transformed world but also be the force for the change our countries have long hoped and dreamed. That's why I do what I do, and whether I succeed or not, I will keep fighting and pass on this mindset or vision to those around me, because social goals are and will always be our most powerful weapon. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: GrowGreen Agroforestry solutions
GrowGreen Ventures focuses on combating food insecurity and promoting environmental sustainability through regenerative agroforestry practices. Our mission aligns with SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG 13 (Climate Action), aiming to empower local farmers and communities with sustainable agriculture solutions.
We provide training in agroforestry techniques, environmental awareness, and resource management while implementing diversified agroforestry systems that integrate trees, crops, and livestock. These efforts help restore degraded lands, increase agricultural productivity, and mitigate the impacts of climate change.
By fostering collaboration among farmers, businesses, and stakeholders, GrowGreen Ventures envisions a future where communities are resilient, ecosystems thrive, and sustainable practices are the norm.
