" "Today is the best time to start making an impact; I want to see everyone have access to educational, skills, and professional development opportunities. Youth are the best agent of positive change in society, but they need the right opportunities and resources to unleash their potential. I am passionate about education and using technology to empower underprivileged youth to achieve their dreams and impact the community and the world." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering Refugees with Technical Skills (ERTS) Initiative
This project tackles the challenges of poverty, unemployment, and limited access to education and skills development faced by refugees. It aims to empower them with practical knowledge and skills, ultimately enhancing their employability and fostering economic independence. The project utilizes a physical learning hub designed to equip refugees with relevant technical skills. We envision a future where every refugee has access to the resources, education, and support needed to thrive in the digital economy. Through the Refugee Tech Hub, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and dependency by providing refugees with practical, hands-on training in essential technical skills. By fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurship within refugee communities, we seek to unlock their full potential and pave the way for economic independence. Our vision extends beyond the acquisition of skills; it encompasses the creation of a vibrant ecosystem where refugees are empowered to chart their own course, contribute meaningfully to society, and build a better future for themselves and their families.
