Millennium Fellowship Project: Brain Liberia Community Social Impact Initiative Vocational Training
One of my major goals in life is to make the world around me a better place for everyone and to improve the living standards of people in my community and society at large. My team members and I, within our organization, are working tirelessly and sharing ideas on how to find solutions to various social problems affecting human life in our community.
One major problem we are currently addressing is providing professional, vocational, and technical training for disadvantaged youths, people living with disabilities, high school dropouts due to teenage pregnancy, and high school students. This initiative aims to transform the lives of the beneficiaries by equipping them with skills that will enable them to join the workforce and even become entrepreneurs, managing their own business enterprises.
At the end of the training, we plan to provide beneficiaries with loans to help them immediately start their own business enterprises. Recruitment for this initiative is currently ongoing, and we are set to begin in January.
