" As a Millennium Fellow, I am thrilled to lead 'AI Ignite: Empowering through Education,' where we connect young minds with the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Our mission goes beyond teaching; we aim to inspire curiosity and build a community of future innovators. By equipping high school students with foundational AI and ML skills, we're not just preparing them for tech careers but empowering them to tackle real-world challenges across various sectors, making a meaningful impact on the world. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: AI Ignite: Empowering through Education
Our initiative is referred to as "AI Ignite: Empowering through Education." it intends to connect new technology with young people. We wish to teach high school students the basis of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) because those areas are very important in many professions nowadays. Therefore, we want to make these technologies clear and show their practical application by giving an idea of how they can be used for solving real-life problems. The knowledge of AI and ML does not only apply when pursuing tech careers but also equips one with foundational skills applicable in almost every sector including healthcare or environmental science. By commencing with mathematics that forms the foundation of these systems, we expect that all learners will find this subject interesting irrespective of their backgrounds. What sets us apart from other programs is our hands-on approach and commitment towards building a community around curiosity which in turn breeds future innovators. More than being just another educational venture, it represents a critical step towards creating awareness among young people about technology use while arming them with necessary skills needed to engage thoughtfully and responsibly thereby making the world better.
About the Millennium Fellow
Rahul Krishna, an ambitious young man pursuing his B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, has always been driven by a desire to make a lasting impact on the world. From a young age, he dreamed of creating change that would endure for generations. Rahul’s journey toward this goal began with a deep, unquenched thirst for knowledge—a thirst he soon realized was shared by the children around him. Recognizing this, Rahul set out on a mission, supported by friends and family, not only to impart knowledge but to inspire a relentless curiosity in others. He hopes that each person he inspires will ignite that same spark in someone else, creating a chain of enlightenment that spreads across the world, illuminating minds and spreading the brilliance of wisdom far and wide.
