United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

" The Fellowship I believe will offer me various training, aimed at developing essential skills for effective social impact work. To be part of a such a program can provide recognition and validation for me in my social impact efforts. This will boost my confidence and also open doors to further opportunities for collaboration, partnerships, and support.
I believe this opportunity will also create visibility which in return bring fourth more supporters, volunteers, donors, and collaborators.
And lastly through engaging with diverse perspectives,it will help me cultivate resilience, empathy, creativity, and leadership qualities that are invaluable for future endeavors. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Women are us
The project was to entail three months cohorts, I settled for one off groups with intention to continue as need be.
About the Millennium Fellow
Anne Njoki Kabuya is a passionate traveler and advocate for the well-being of girls in society. Her love for travel has taken her to various countries, where she immerses herself in diverse cultures and experiences. Through her journeys, Anne has developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by girls globally, particularly in education. She dedicates her efforts to empowering young women, promoting their rights, and fostering environments where they can thrive. Her commitment to social change is evident in her initiatives aimed at improving the lives of girls, ensuring they have access to opportunities that enable them to succeed, through pointing them to their capabilities and how the role they play fits in the society.
