Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Paper
Project paper aimed to start proper paper disposal and recycling on campus, and has succeeded in setting up several special bins for the same across campus. We have also set up waste segregation bins in key areas on campus.
About the Millennium Fellow
Saumya Chopra is an undergraduate student at Ashoka University, pursuing a plethora of disciplines including economics, entrepreneurship and psychology. Having spent most of her childhood close to beaches, she developed a passion for the ocean at an early age, which evolved into her interest for the environment and sustainability. Her academic interests are intertwined with her commitment to sustainability, and drive her to pursue innovative solutions for global environmental challenges. At Ashoka, Saumya has enhanced her leadership skills and aims to create projects that promote ecological conservation and sustainable practices through simple solutions.
