We Empower is a project under Empower. XXIV is a project founded by Millennium Fellows Afra Nawar Rahman and Marziah Habib. It is dedicated to empowering women and creating a safe society that promotes equity and justice. It is focused o SDG -5, gender equality
About the Millennium Fellow
Afra Nawar Rahman is a student of Environmental Science at the Asian University for Women in Chittagong, Bangladesh. She currently serves as the General Secretary of the AUW student government and works as the Youth Coordinator at Young Power in Social Action (YPSA). In this role, Afra actively connects youth leaders and organizations across the country, mobilizing an effective network of changemakers. Her passion lies in creating green, inclusive cities and addressing climate change from grassroots initiatives to advocacy. After graduating, Afra plans to pursue higher education in sustainable architectural design, aiming to harmonize communities with nature.
