Millennium Fellowship Project: From Afghanistan to the World

The "Talent Show of Afghanistan to the World" is a social project aimed at providing education and empowerment opportunities to Afghan women and youth in the context of the current socio-political situation under the control of the Taliban. In Afghanistan, women's access to education has been severely restricted, creating an illiterate society with limited opportunities for personal growth, social mobility, and economic independence. This project aims to bridge that gap by offering education, skill-building, and empowerment programs that can help individuals, especially women, improve their lives and contribute meaningfully to society. The project will begin in a small village, with plans to scale up and provide support to over 1,000 individuals as it grows.

About the Millennium Fellow

Katayoun Ferdawsi is a girl from Afghanistan. She is only 22 years old with lots of success and full of experience, in a patriarchal society, in which women have no law and rights. After her graduation she became a psychology major in Kabul University. During that time she had activities with an organization called AKES,A as an english instructor. Unfortunately after the Taliban took over Afghanistan and did not allow girls to continue their education she was forced to stop her education and search for scholarships to go to a foreign country and continue her education.
