United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Our project is for the people who are underprivileged in our society and to make them financially stable by providing something like earning source.

About the Millennium Fellow

Tawsia Ajrin is a bright and dedicated computer science student at the Asian University for Women. Born in Bangladesh, Tawsia has always been driven by a passion for social work. Her commitment to making a difference is evident in her past involvement with the Mai Soli Foundation, where she contributed to efforts to eradicate child marriage. She also actively participated in the AUW Social Service Club, reinforcing her dedication to community service.
Currently, Tawsia is working with the Green Bangle Project, an initiative focused on environmental sustainability. In addition, she serves as the Vice President of the AUW Peace Cafe Club, where she channels her energy into promoting peace and justice. Recently, Tawsia has also extended her efforts to support vulnerable populations, including less sheltered and needy children and older street people. She collaborates with her teams to explore income-generating opportunities for these groups, aiming to uplift their lives in meaningful ways.
With a strong foundation in social work and leadership, Tawsia is committed to continuing her journey of making a positive impact on society.
