Millennium Fellowship Project: PCOD Swastho Prokolpo
PCODi Swastho Prokolpo is a social impact initiative focused on addressing Polycystic Ovary Disorder (PCOD) among women aged 18–25 in rural Bangladesh. PCOD is a common yet often overlooked health issue that impacts women’s physical and mental well-being. In underserved areas, the lack of awareness, education, and access to healthcare exacerbates the problem, leaving many women undiagnosed and untreated. This project aims to: - Raise awareness about PCOD through workshops and campaigns. - Promote early diagnosis and encourage seeking professional medical advice. - Provide actionable guidance on managing PCOD through nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle changes. - Reduce the stigma around reproductive health issues by fostering open community discussions. By empowering women with knowledge and resources, **PCODi Swastho Prokolpo** seeks to create lasting change, ensuring that reproductive health becomes a priority for individuals and communities alike.
