Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Sahara

Project Sahara is a self-initiated project by Millennium Fellow Prerana and her friend Yashna. This project is designed to offer children a constructive alternative to life on the streets, equipping them with skills for sustainable earning and providing educational support. By combining motivational guidance, practical skill-building, educational access, and sponsorship, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and empower these children to build a better future for themselves. Our holistic approach creates a pathway for street children to transition away from beginning and towards a life of empowerment and self-reliance. This project is about providing immediate support while planting the seeds for long-term growth and success. With the right tools and opportunities, these children can overcome the challenges of their current circumstances and become the innovators, leaders, and change-makers of tomorrow.
