Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Hadejia
Hadejia Local government is a local government area of Jigawa state, Nigeria which is well know to have a very hot weather and a blazing sunlight. That extreme hotness is as a result of numerous effects among which is deforestation, which exposes our land to direct sunlight and consequently heats up the community and affect the climate. I intend to help control and regulate this problem
About the Millennium Fellow
Alkasim Alhassan is a hard-working student, studying in Nigeria, although not socially related course, Engineering but a truly advocate for social impact. He was born in Jigawa State, Nigeria, by Nigerian parent and lives currently in Nigeria. Alkasim has a profound passion for societal developments been born in Africa, Nigeria a socially deprived state for bringing achievements and progress to his environment. He reside in area with a very harsh climate conditions which was what made him started thinking about regulating and controlling this problem. By God's grace with the help of this program Alkasim wants to achieve his long forgotten dream about societal developments. And to contribute to the entire world
