" The fellowship connects me to like-minded people who are also passionate about change, just like me. I work every day with the hope that someday there will be peace and harmony everywhere, among the beautiful web of organisms. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: The Minimal Waste Project
The Minimal Waste Project aims to reduce food waste and plastic usage on campus. For the first part, we'll record the average plates of food wasted per day while also making observations about the causes of such waste. For the second part, we'll track the plastic usage in our personal lives and reduce it wherever possible. The aim is simple - to understand how the plastic industry has influenced our daily workings, and how much waste a single person can cut down on. At the end of it all, we plan to write a blog to spread awareness among people of the ways in which they can individually contribute to reducing food waste as well as plastic waste.
