Millennium Fellowship Project: Substance Free Movement
The aim of the project is to explore the different dynamics of factors associated with drug use amongst young people and also empower them to be able to live drug or substance free lives. it aims to help young people live not as a subject to substance use and abuse while they understand the role peer pressure and family dynamics play in their lives.
About the Millennium Fellow
Blessing is a 3rd year student of Public health. born and raised in Nigeria. many years ago she did not know what path to take but eventually found herself in the public health space. choosing to study public aligns well with her childhood interest. she loves helping people out, enthusiastic about good health and wellbeing. she likes to stay informed which fuels her interest for reading and learning. in addition to this, she has undergone several trainings and received certifications in the field of public health and management. and as a part of her course work she has led various programs, which include an open conversation about Syphilis, she as well championed a movement to promote plastic recycling. she is an advocate for women's right and child protection aligning with the SDGs. In conclusion, she's grateful for this opportunity and looking forward to insights she would be getting from this program.
