" "I believe that being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will help me connect with like-minded, goal-driven, and globally relevant individuals. Together, we can work towards achieving the goals I've set for myself, which involve making a positive impact on the people and communities around me. These goals will be aligned with the UNAI principles and SDGs. I am thrilled to begin this journey of social impact and eager to turn it into a reality." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering The Male Gender
The project is centered on taking a different approach to achieving a better society and this is by actively being involved in the training and growth every male gender in different communities. Empowering the male gender is not about discrediting the female empowerment movement but to supplement this movement by raising responsible young men who will eventually grow up to be fathers and leaders
About the Millennium Fellow
Olaopin Joshua, a driven and multifaceted medical student at Babcock University, was born in Nigeria and currently resides in Lagos while pursuing his studies in Ogun State. His passion for uplifting others shines through his selfless dedication to guiding those in need. Joshua is deeply concerned about the declining quality of young men in society, a trend he attributes to the lack of proper guidance for adolescent males. With a vision to reverse this trend, he aims to illuminate the overlooked issues, offer practical solutions, and contribute meaningfully to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
