Millennium Fellowship Project: Substance Free Movement
The aim of the project is to explore the different dynamics of factors associated with drug use amongst young people and also empower them to be able to live drug or substance free lives. it aims to help young people live not as a subject to substance use and abuse while they understand the role peer pressure and family dynamics play in their lives.
About the Millennium Fellow
Eke, Mary Okimsama is a final year student of Babcock University, Ilishan Remo Ogun State, Nigeria studying Public Health.
She loves to spend her free time with family and friends amidst her other hobbies.
She is also passionate about increasing the quality of health of people even in the littlest ways, which has informed her decision to be a part of the Millennium Fellowship to help in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
This is the beginning for her, as she hopes to advance to more professional heights where she can do more for her community and the world at large in promoting health and preventing diseases.
