United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Being part of the Millennium Fellowship will give me access to opportunities where I can gain more skills and knowledge to advance my work and collaborate with individuals like myself to bring impact to our campus, communities and world at large. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Sustainable Leadership Development in the 21st Century

My project aims at building sustainable networks, communities and platforms that will build change minded youth ready to take on the challenge of creating social impact in their sphere of contact.

About the Millennium Fellow

Michelle Oisazemoje Oisaghie is a charismatic young leader currently studying Information Resources Management in Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria. She was born in Lagos, Nigeria and is a visionary activist for youth leadership development and empowerment. She has always been passionate about leadership and resource management and this drive has translated into her successfully coordinating several youth groups as a leader and volunteer, both within her campus and community. In her high school, she won the Chairman's Award for Leadership as she was the catalyst for several community development initiatives that ensured feeding and fund donation to the needy. She remains committed to ensuring those in her world gain the necessary leadership skills they need to thrive and support their respective communities and is excited to see this become a bigger reality through her project in her campus. After she graduates, she plans to gain a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management and Strategic Planning.
