Millennium Fellowship Project: Baskets of Bliss
We targetted sdg # 2 which is Zero Hunger so we decided to distribute 50 meal boxes to an orphanage name Home for Children, where a box was sufficient for 2 kids. The meal box included tge tradition dish Daal chawal which is basically lentils and rice
About the Millennium Fellow
Alishba Ashtiaq is a young, passionate Bachelor in Development Studies student from Bahria University, Islamabad. She resides in Islamabad and belongs to a very underdeveloped village of Murree. Throughout her childhood, she has always dreamt of making this world a better place, especially for women and children. Her goal is to protect children's rights in terms of providing them with quality education and women's freedom to make decisions for their own lives. Through her project, she hopes to help as many women and children. After completing her bachelor's degree, Alishba hopes to pursue a Master's degree in International Development.
