United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Sidney A. Ribeau President's Leadership Academy Serivce Project
Our cohort split into 3 groups to focus on various aspects of wellness. One group focused on enviornmental wellness and sustainabliliy, they partenered with Bowling Green State University's Office of Campus Sustainability to plant native 10 trees on the university's campus. Our second and third groups focused on mental health and educational wellness by partering with schools. One of these two groups facilitated a letter writing campaign, college students wrote letters to give to highschoolers in Detroit, MI, detailing how their experience transitionitioning from high school to college. The letters were given to students during a Mental Health and Wellness day at the school and reportedly conviced several students who were not considering higher education to apply. The final group fundraised over $2,500 USD to buy Christmas toys for elementry school childeren in Bowling Green, OH.
About the Millennium Fellow
Hailey Lyn Hochstettler is an ambitious student persuing a career in the medical field as a physician assistant. She grew up in Findlay, Ohio and is currently studying Applied Health Science on a Pre-Physician Assistant track with a Minor in Chemistry at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. She embraces the concept of servant leadership, which guides her studies and career path as a future healthcare provider. With a vision to create positive social change, she will harness the values of the Millennium Fellowship and the United Nations Academic Impact as she moves forward with her career.
