" I am excited about Millennium Fellowship because I believe this is the platform I have been working and waiting for all this long. This will enable me have more experience and opportunities to reach out and grow as well.
I'm also excited about working with other students on this project and I believe we can do so much in unity. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Impact

Project Impact has two arms supporting SDG 3 and 4. We've carried our awareness outreaches to a secondary school in our locale to teach on a number of health issues. The second arm is related to providing quality healthcare at subsidized rates to women and children within a set criteria in our vicinity.

About the Millennium Fellow

Abejide Taye is a 6th year medical student at Bingham University Jos. I was born in Kogi state in the North central region of Nigeria. I am passionate about giving back to the society through leadership and support, justice and education. I have served in various leadership positions within and without my association (Bingham University Medical Student Association) and I have gathered experiences on how to reach out to people.
I had a humble childhood, I lost my dad at 8, life became very difficult, due to these experiences I became passionate about others in the same situation presently and I want to reach out to them.
I believe this platform will give me the opportunity to reach out to many people out there who need support.
