Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Impact
Project Impact has two arms supporting SDG 3 and 4. We've carried our awareness outreaches to a secondary school in our locale to teach on a number of health issues. The second arm is related to providing quality healthcare at subsidized rates to women and children within a set criteria in our vicinity.
About the Millennium Fellow
Nebwa Yakubu is a fifth year medical student at Bingham University Teaching Hospital, Jos. She hails from the North eastern part of Nigeria. She's Higgi by tribe from Adamawa State. Nebwa has always been a bright student evidenced my academic track record and has always been eager to do things that'll improve or impact people. She has held several leadership positions right from secondary school which includes house captain, head girl, class monitor, Lead program coordinator of Nigerian Medical Students Association Skills and Acquisitions program. She has organised quite a number of programs in line with the SDG list to impact other medical students in Nigeria. Nebwa, loves to watch tiktok at leisure, watch educational materials on YouTube, and watch movies. She's currently working on been a data analyst. Nebwa, has also in the past taken courses in Basic Life Skills and have been certified. Nebwa is looking forward to having an amazing experience with the Millennium Fellowship.
