United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Impact

Project Impact has two arms supporting SDG 3 and 4. We've carried our awareness outreaches to a secondary school in our locale to teach on a number of health issues. The second arm is related to providing quality healthcare at subsidized rates to women and children within a set criteria in our vicinity.

About the Millennium Fellow

Nwankwo Chidumebi Cherish is a 600 level medical student of Bingham university, she is applying for this program because she believes that change starts with a person at a time. She has had a 3 year experience working in Nigerian Medical Students Association in volunteering and attending seminars. She envisions a world where students especially would be confident speaking leaders in their various fields irrespective of their financial status and geographical location.
She's currently the Female welfare officer for the Bingham university medical students association(BHUMSA )
