" I’ve always been driven by the idea that small, thoughtful actions can lead to big changes. I’m excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it provides an opportunity to connect with a community that feels the same way, helping me grow both personally and in the work that I’m passionate about. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Digital Literacy Training Program
The Digital Literacy Training Program is a community-focused initiative aimed at reducing the digital divide by providing foundational digital skills training. Through interactive, hands-on workshops, my program covered a range of essential topics, including how to use Google tools (like Google Meet and Google Translate), online safety, secure internet navigation, basic MS Excel skills, social media safety, and understanding digital footprints. Participants also learnt basic device troubleshooting and maintenance, empowering them to handle everyday technological challenges. By making the learning process practical and engaging, the program ensured that the participants gain confidence in using technology not just for work but also to stay connected with family and access vital online services.
