" Being a Millennium Fellow will surely broaden my horizon. Right from the application process, I've already been exposed to so many opportunities and met a lot of new people. I am excited because I'm certain that the skills I currently possess will be developed more than I can imagine. I will be able to do things I had only dreamt about, and reach heights I couldn't even imagine. "

About the Millennium Fellow

Morayo Eni-ibukun Showemimo is a passionate, intelligent and compassionate Medical student at Bowen University, Iwo. She was born in Lagos, Nigeria and currently resides there. Since she was young, Morayo had always been keen for knowledge, the thought of being ignorant about anything scared her to bits. Overtime, she started to have a burning desire to share the knowledge she was acquiring, especially with people much younger than her. Eventually, she started to be more specific about the knowledge she acquired. She became knowledgeable in Self-development, Religion, Health, Human Rights, Language and many others. Her passion lies in Self development, Health and Language.
She runs a podcast called 'Heal' to share her knowledge on self-development. Health-wise, she is currently studying Medicine and Surgery and is regularly involved health matters with people in her community (like outreaches) and she hopes to become fluent in atleast 5 different languages (she's currently able to speak 3) to have maximum impact in whatever the finds herself doing.
