Brac University | Dhaka, Bangladesh | Advancing SDG 2, SDG 12 & UNAI 9

" Effective communication and innovative thinking, fueled by a deep commitment to social responsibility, are the cornerstones of my academic and community endeavors. The Millennium Fellowship presents an unparalleled opportunity to refine these skills in a collaborative setting. Through this experience, I aim to amplify my efforts in combating food insecurity, creating a more substantial and sustainable impact that resonates with UNAI principles and SDGs. I'm eager to cultivate my capacity for transformative leadership, exploring novel approaches to nourish both communities and minds alike. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Wall Of Hunger
My project is called "Wall of Hunger." I want to create a space on the street where hungry people can find food. I've noticed that there are a lot of people, like day laborers and children who sell flowers, who might not have enough to eat.
They often watch as people come out of restaurants and hotels with leftover food.
I want to work with local restaurants to collect their surplus food and keep it on the Hunger Walls. This way, when someone is feeling hungry, they can go to the Hunger Wall and find something to eat. I hope that this project will help reduce food waste and provide a valuable resource for people in need.
