Millennium Fellowship Project: Rindco. Leathers

Rindco. Leathers is a social enterprise that works on how to produce alternative leather like material from fruit fibers and sustainable production mechanisms. It aims to meet the leather demand for the country as well as provide an eco-friendly and carbon footprint reduced material for the market.

About the Millennium Fellow

Md.Shabab Hossain Meher is a dedicated law student at BRAC University, passionate about fostering social and political growth in Bangladesh and globally. From a young age, Meher observed societal power imbalances and the challenges people face. This inspired him to strive for a healthier, more equitable society where everyone's opinions are valued. Recognizing the need for well-educated policymakers to influence socio-political and economic changes, Meher aspires to fill this role. He is mindful of those left behind in the socioeconomic race and actively engages in social work related to climate change, contributing as a responsible citizen and a changemaker.
