Millennium Fellowship Project: Amplitude, Bangladesh
Amplitude is a youth-led non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating societal taboos and addressing discrimination through sustainable solutions. Founded in 2019, it operates with a mission to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion while fostering a culture of shared privilege. Amplitude has successfully implemented projects that benefit marginalized communities, empower women, support education, and provide relief during crises. The organization has reached over 85,000 individuals through innovative campaigns and collaborative efforts with national and international partners.
About the Millennium Fellow
Nafira Nayeem Ahmad, a rising Sophomore at Brac University, is a dedicated social activist and changemaker who has been recognized globally for her impactful work, including receiving the prestigious Diana Award and the Legacy Award from His Royal Highness Prince William. As the founder and president of Amplitude, a non-profit organization, Nafira has led numerous initiatives aimed at empowering marginalized communities. Her passion for social justice and youth engagement has been further amplified through her participation in international conferences and workshops. Nafira's commitment to making a difference drives her continuous efforts to create meaningful change on both a local and global scale.
