Millennium Fellowship Project: Happy Paws, Clean City
“Clean Streets, Happy Paws” is a community initiative that tackles pollution and stray dog welfare. It organizes clean-up drives, provides care for stray dogs, and raises awareness about responsible pet ownership, aiming to create a cleaner, safer, and more compassionate environment for all.
About the Millennium Fellow
Safia Maherzia is a dedicated third-year Biotechnology student from Bangladesh, committed to improving the lives of stray dogs and enhancing Dhaka's air quality. Proficient in graphic design, she creates compelling visuals using Canva. Safia's academic journey has equipped her with strong lab techniques, data analysis, and project management skills. Fluent in three languages, she connects with diverse communities and expresses her creativity through dance. Safia’s unique blend of technical expertise and compassion drives her to make a meaningful impact, with aspirations to further her contributions to environmental and social causes.
