Millennium Fellowship Project: Climate Law Summer School
The Climate Law Summer School is a project, started by students at Bucerius
Law School years ago, targeting German speaking Law Students and trying to
help them find their way in climate law in order to help Germany become more
sustainable in the future. The pilot has started this summer and since autumn of
this year, the University has officially taken on the project and will continue the
work for at least three more years. The students will continue to participate in
building the project, by advising the university, helping out in marketing and giving
feedback for the curriculum. The project aims to support SDG 13.
About the Millennium Fellow
Caprice Gerlach ist a passionate and dedicated third year law student at Bucerius Law School in Germany. After a semester abroad at UC Law San Francisco he, back in Germany, decided to mayor in labour law. In addition to his studies, Caprice is particularly committed to the isssues of social and especially educational justice. Combining his field of study and his personal beliefs, he instructed constitutional law classes for middle schoolers in Germany and furthers the legal knowledge of his community be administering free legal advice at a local law clinic. Currently Caprice is looking forward to advance his cohorts Fellowhip project of establishing a Climate Law Summer School in Germany.
