Millennium Fellowship Project: Climate Law Summer School
The Climate Law Summer School is a project, started by students at Bucerius
Law School years ago, targeting German speaking Law Students and trying to
help them find their way in climate law in order to help Germany become more
sustainable in the future. The pilot has started this summer and since autumn of
this year, the University has officially taken on the project and will continue the
work for at least three more years. The students will continue to participate in
building the project, by advising the university, helping out in marketing and giving
feedback for the curriculum. The project aims to support SDG 13.
About the Millennium Fellow
Lieve Münte is a 21 year old law student from Hamburg, Germany. She is in the third year of her studies and just handed in her bachelor thesis. Her favourite field of law is international law, which is why she participated in the 2024 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court and also wrote her bachelor thesis about a topic of international law. After graduating and doing the First State Exam in Germany, she wants to do a L.L.M. in international law abroad, in order to pursue her dream of working as a lawyer for human rights or for an international organization (such as the UN or the ILO).
