Millennium Fellowship Project: Quality Education For Everyone
I have made a community serving committee in my village, in this committee, we work for the betterment of otur village. The committee has achieved several goals, in 2024 we planted more than 1000 trees in our village, the committee is working to solve issues of electricity and gas. 'Quality Education' is the SDGs which I am working on. So, in this context we approached the famous media cells to show the quality of education in my village, where the primary school is present for the girls, but, it is not functioning, due the constant insouciance of the competent authorities, schools in our area have become shed for the flock of sheep. The media cells like Voice of America (VOA) has published the story online. In this committee we also founded a home based village school with my friends, where we provide free education poor students who can't afford to get education, and students of religious institution (Madrasa). Me and my friends are the teachers, we have command on teaching primary school subjects.
About the Millennium Fellow
Shahzaib Khan Bazai is a student of international Relations at BUITEMS Quetta. He was born in Quetta, Pakistan. He loves to work on social issues. He is from that part of the world where you can find every problem. His passion of doing social work helps him co-founded a committee with his friends which works for the betterment of his village in various fields like education, water access, electricity and infrastructure in the village. Shahzaib, with his friends approach Voice of America (VOA) to Capture the importance of female education in his village, because there is no school and girls walks for 5 kilometers to get education from other village. He also know the importance of a issue like a climate change, so he with his friends planted around 2000 trees in March 2024 in their village. Shahzaib is wanted to establish a school with his co-founded committee for those who can't afford to go to school, where he and his friends will educate children's. He is very passionate to work with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to solve social issues. He will work very hard to bring development in the society.
