Millennium Fellowship Project: Vacci-Safe

Vacci-Safe is a portable solar-powered vaccine storage fridge designed specifically for rural communities to solve the critical challenge of inefficient storage and distribution of vaccines and other medical supplies in rural communities. It is IoT-enabled to ensure real-time tracking and monitoring of vaccines for optimal efficiency ensuring equitable healthcare for all.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ayisat Adamu is a determined and self-motivated young lady, who is an undergraduate student of Public Administration at Bayero University,Kano in Nigeria. She originates from Borno state, Nigeria.
For the past seven years of her life she has actively participated in leadership programmes volunteering wherever she can such as the Duke of Edinburgh Leadership Programme, Leap Africa Youth Development Programme amongst others. She is also an ambassador with Gender Mobile Initiative.
She also participated in the Daytopia Presentation Competition in 2023 and was awarded the prestigious award of Most Competitive Mentee.
If there is one thing she believes in, it is the fact that change begins with you.
