United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project RED

Project RED focuses on raising awareness about menstrual health and hygiene by providing education and resources to women and girls. It aims to empower them with knowledge about their bodies, promote safe menstrual practices, and break down the stigma surrounding menstruation. Through workshops and community engagement, the project seeks to create a supportive environment where women and girls feel comfortable discussing their menstrual health needs.

About the Millennium Fellow

Khadija Sulaiman Shehu Jebu is a dynamic youth leader and a dedicated advocate for social change. She is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and a Kennedy Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (KLYES) Alumna. As a change-maker and an effective student committed to developing skills in agriculture, Khadija is defined by her hardworking, ambitious, fun and self-disciplined nature. She always strives for excellence and believes in putting all her efforts into every endeavor she pursues. Khadija has held multiple workshops on various topics, her efforts are making a tangible impact in her community and beyond. In addition to her advocacy work, Khadija enjoys reading, fashion designing, and styling, running her business Bella and Bloom, and traveling.
