Millennium Fellowship Project: Security And Self-Vigilance In Promoting Welfarism

The name of my project is Security and Self-Vigilance in Promoting Welfarism. This project centers on establishing a sense of inclusiveness when it comes to security. Most citizens, whether literate or illiterate, do not know the basic things required to maintain security around them. For example, they are unaware of the hotlines of security and welfare agencies and law enforcement agencies.
The level of insecurities in our communities raises each day. If minor crimes and transgressions cannot be tackled from the community level, how then are we supposed to know the kind of approach to give to it at the national level? That is why the awareness and sensitization of self-vigilance should be made. "I know a person" is not enough. As a community, we need to look out for one another.
If vigilance is present, changes in the lifestyle and behavior of an individual that are worthy of note can easily be seen. A person might be in a delicate situation and have been mandated not to talk to anyone. A person might be depressed or drifting away; being vigilant can uphold and maintain welfare among people. This and other incidental issues relating to security, self-vigilance, and welfarism are what this project is about.
On the part of strong institutions, as a person who grew up among family and whose family love has carried me so well, the institution of family that serves as the first guide to children is not as strong as it used to be, and this is deteriorating some core values that promote social welfarism.
This project has educated people and has opened our minds to the fact that security is not just about taking measurable safety upon oneself alone or waiting for the government or law enforcement agencies to secure citizens' lives and properties. It includes looking out for one another as members of a sane community and being vigilant about one's environment. These acts have shown to encourage patriotism and welfarism, especially in the social institutions like family.
In achieving this project, a sensitization about security, self-vigilance, including the role it plays to aid welfarism, shall be made. Also, the impact of reviving family institution by highlighting its benefits and shying youths away from single parenthood or irresponsible living shall be addressed. Fliers containing information of notable and important security and welfare agencies will be made and shared. This flier may include, or if necessary, another one may be made on the institution of family and its essence.
