" I’m excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it perfectly matches my passion for making a significant social impact. This opportunity allows me to promote my efforts in addressing critical issues like drug abuse and teenage pregnancy, and to collaborate with like-minded peers dedicated to advancing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. I’m motivated to creating impactful solutions and promoting positive change within our global community. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: A Drug-Free Campus

Our project addresses the growing issue of drug abuse among university students, focusing on prevention, education, and support.
The project seeks to reduce substance misuse by fostering awareness about the risks of drug abuse and equipping students with coping skills to handle academic and social pressures healthily.
Through workshops, peer mentorship programs, and partnerships with mental health professionals, we aim to create a supportive campus environment that encourages open discussions on substance use and mental well-being.
By providing evidence-based education and accessible resources, our initiative empowers students to make informed choices, reducing the stigma associated with seeking help and fostering a culture of resilience.
The ultimate goal is to build a community that supports long-term wellness, thereby creating a lasting social impact on both individual lives and the university as a whole.
