" "I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because I am passionate about growing and becoming a better community leader. The opportunities and knowledge I gain here will help me improve both myself and my project, which focuses on bringing STEM to young women and girls in my community." "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Atenea

Atenea partnered with a local middle school to mentor a group of girls, fostering their interest in STEM through hands-on learning. We guided them step by step, starting with brainstorming and refining their initial ideas. From there, we worked together to design, develop, and finalize a fully completed science fair project. This collaboration not only allowed the girls to explore their creativity and problem-solving skills but also aimed to inspire confidence in their abilities to pursue STEM opportunities in the future.
