" My passion for political issues and environmental justice has been a constant throughout my life. Becoming a Millennium Fellow will provide me with the opportunity to refine my civic engagement skills and gain the guidance needed to drive meaningful change. I am eager to collaborate with like-minded peers, exchange ideas, and emphasize sustainability as a cornerstone of resilient, future-ready communities. Through this fellowship, I hope to further highlight the importance of the UN SDGs in shaping a better collective future. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Evolving E-Waste

My project, Evolving E-Waste, sought to raise awareness about responsible electronic waste disposal at my university. It aimed to educate students and staff on proper recycling practices while establishing an e-waste drop-off point on campus. The initiative focused on increasing consumer awareness of the social and environmental consequences of e-waste. As part of the project, I hosted a film screening and discussion on e-waste and co-moderated, in collaboration with the CEU Environmental Front, a panel discussion on Degrowth featuring three experts. By installing an e-waste collection point, the project has enabled students and staff to responsibly dispose of discarded electronics and contribute to a more sustainable campus community.
