" Creating meaningful change through sustainable development has always been my passion. The Millennium Fellowship offers an incredible opportunity to collaborate with driven individuals who share this commitment. I’m excited to enhance my understanding of the SDGs that I have learned through my role as a member of the SDG cell member and apply them to real-world challenges. This fellowship will empower me to sharpen my leadership skills and make a tangible impact, aligning my efforts with a global community dedicated to building a more sustainable and equitable future. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Unlocking Women Empowerment through Financial Literacy
My project is financial literacy program for women, its basically to help people who don't have much knowledge about money and how it works and how to use it wisely. I put put together some basic easy lesson's and try to make then understand in like a friendly chatting way ,to give them a basic idea about cheques, bills, ATM, UPI,savings etc. I also organised simple fun activities to like help them understand it better. It's basically a project to make people who are not so educationally well aware feel a bit confident about their money and give them little insights into the financial world. I think me being a part of the Sustainable Development Goals Cell(SDG Cell) in the campus will also have a positive impact on the project as I am better aware of the goals and how to go about on them.
