United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Samvardhan

Project Samvardhan focuses on creating opportunities for holistic growth among underprivileged communities, particularly children and youth. Through interactive workshops and activities, the project emphasizes skill development, educational enrichment, and mental well-being. It aims to nurture creativity, foster self-reliance, and provide participants with tools to build a sustainable livelihood. The initiative prioritizes hands-on engagement to ensure a long-term positive impact.

About the Millennium Fellow

Harshita yadav is a cheerful, ambitious and a passionate person. Her lively personality
is complemented by deep love for books, art and psychology. She is currently a
student in Christ (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR persuing bachelor of science in
psychology. She finds inspiration in her mother whom she sees as her ultimate role
model. Her mother's kind and selfless nature, instilled in Harshita as a lifelong passion
for making change in individual's life. This inspiration has guided her towards her goal
of becoming a psychologist, where she hopes to support and uplifts those struggling,
just as her mother done for many.
