Christ (Deemed To Be University) Bannerghatta Campus | Bengaluru, India | Advancing SDG 4 & UNAI 4

" I'm thrilled to be a Millennium Fellow because I believe finance can be a powerful tool for positive change. I aim to empower individuals and communities to achieve economic stability and prosperity by harnessing the power of international business and finance. Through my work, I hope to bridge the financial literacy gap and create a more inclusive and equitable financial landscape for all, contributing to the SDG's and making a positive impact. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Wealth Wise
As teenagers, we experience a lot of things for the first time and that includes being responsible for our own finances. From my experience, I often find that many people younger than me are unsure how they must be dealing with personal finance and to empower others on how they can be responsible adults, we need to empower them early. With this project I aim to: 1. Empower young individuals early on with the skills to manage their personal finances. 2. Create awareness on the basics of money and how to be responsible with it through curated and simplfied modules. 3. Connect with local communities and schools around my campus and conduct teaching sessions. 4. Providing resources like books & flashcards to help them learn and enable peer learning. 5. Collaborate with NGO's to continue running the project and garner feedback to improve it beyond the fellowship period.
