" "Exposure, learning, and growth are the pillars I associate with the Millennium Fellowship. I believe that success in any endeavor is rooted in discipline, guidance, and the invaluable support of both peers and mentors. The Millennium Fellowship offers not just a platform for personal development but also the opportunity to create meaningful impact through collaboration and shared purpose. I am excited to learn, grow, and contribute to the Fellowship's mission, while gaining insights that will empower me to drive positive change aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals." "

About the Millennium Fellow
Immanuel Joshua is an enthusiastic and driven final-year Computer Science student at Christ (Deemed to be University), Kengeri Campus. Born in Tamil Nadu, India, he currently resides in the city of Bangalore, often referred to as the "Silicon Valley of India" for its thriving tech industry, and formerly recognized as the "Garden City" for its lush greenery.
From an early age, Joshua has been fascinated by the natural world—first captivated by dinosaurs and later by the diverse landscapes and formations found in nature. His passion for nature photography has led him to document the environment in creative and unique ways. Witnessing the gradual loss of greenery in Bangalore, Joshua is motivated to make a positive impact on the growing water crisis, and to support the preservation and growth of the city’s flora and fauna. Pursuing a degree in Computer Science has enabled him to explore how technology can be harnessed to protect the environment, assist the underprivileged, and mitigate the effects of natural disasters. Joshua remains deeply committed to making a meaningful impact and aspires to contribute to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals in the future.
