Sashakt is the transformative arm of Impact360, equipping the underprivileged with basic education and skills training that will break vicious cycles of poverty and enhance the quality of lives. The program offered an entire suite of modules focused on developing essential aspects of personal and community development. These include financial literacy, encompassing budgeting and saving; self-worth and empowerment, which affects self-confidence and personal development; and basic English skills, which develop and enhance literacy, communication, and employability.
The women's health and hygiene was prioritized that included topics such as period menstruation, access to health care and other important issues of health. In addition Sashakt increased awareness about the workplace legislation on labor rights, fair practices, maternity benefits, and ways to overcome discrimination and harassment at work. Also, in order to make the community more included, the participants were taught government schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana and made aware of the benefits of banking systems and savings options.
Fraud prevention and online safety, teaching learners not to fall into any scam, how to protect personal information, how to safely engage online, were part of the program. Substance abuse awareness and prevention strategies and ways of handling addiction were other areas that the modules covered. Sashakt was particularly vocal on the balanced diet and nutrition through the teaching of the importance of healthy eating, meal planning, and budget-friendly nutrition.
The mosaic of life skills Sashakt gave had provided people with the understanding and the resources to gain not just financial freedom but also gender equality, and to better face life's trials. Thus, it improved the social and economic conditions of the person and succeeded in raising more powerful and resilient communities that had a profound effect on most lives for a long period of time.
