I'm a second year psychology student and I've recently started to learn and understand deeply about the sustainability and lack of its implementation in the real world. It really bothers me to think about this huge gap between what is taught in classes to young children and how much of it is actually adhered to. With this opportunity, I have the privilege to work on a greater scale and actually do something for the environment. As an Millennium fellow, I'd like to focus my attention more on sustainable menstruation and disposal and work on it with some ideas I have in mind along with my team members. I'm willing to put forth my time and efforts for this good cause.
