United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

" Without a doubt, I am so excited to be a Millennium Fellow. This is so because this is a platform that will enable me network with like minded individuals as well as come up with the right policies, systems and strcutures so as to be able to execute my project effectively. The mentorship I will receive throughout this programme will act as a guiding tool even as I endevour to bring Impact and Tranformation to my Community at Large. This is an opportunity to Learn, Re-Learn and Unlearn. The Millennium Fellowship will as well instill in me Values, Virtues, Principles, Skills and Expertise needed in the Impact Space. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Breaking The Silence On Sexual Harassment

Breaking The Silence on Sexual Harrasment in learning imstitutions is a project aimed at curbing Gender Based Violence in institutions. This has been achieved by coming up with policies to guide learners, ensuring proper reporting mechanisms as well as training learners and the community on the importance of upholding human dignity. Wwe have come up with a away by ehich the perpetrators can be easily held into account just to ensure justice is served to the victims.

About the Millennium Fellow

Cynthia Rose Awuor is a Leadership and Governance enthusiast who has been in the frontline to advocate for rights and responsibilities of Women, Youth and People with Disability(PWDs). Her tremendous passion to bring transformation in the Community and the Society at large has been greatly depicted through the various programmes and initiatives that she has ably done within her community. She has a special focus on Gender Advocacy and Sexual Harassment in Institutions and Workplace. Cynthia is currently pursuing her bachelor's' Degree in Law at Chuka University, Kenya and she believes in bringing Impact to every person she interacts with.
