Chuka University | Chuka, Kenya | Advancing SDG 5, SDG 3, SDG 10 & UNAI 6

" A collaboration derived system that helps me work with like minded people in order to share ideas vertically and horizontally. It's also a good venue to learn a lot both in the creative field and the intellectual field. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Breaking the Silence on Sexual Violence
The project is about breaking the very loud silence that has been the norm for victims of sexual violence. Creating safe spaces in every institution where victims can feel free to report and alternatively get help as the justice system doesn't really take care of them. We are also interested in access to medication for sex workers and members of the LGBTQ society.
About the Millennium Fellow
Mary Goreti Auma Oduor is a formidable and earnest student of law at Chuka university. She was born in Kenya and is still studying in Kenya. She engages in a lot of training on Advocacy for human rights specifically on the rights of women and girls. This drive comes from first hand experiences where she has witnessed women being sidelined and borderline overlooked. She is very philanthropic about social change and throughout her formative year she has organised talks, events and reach out sessions where she has tried to help educate and empower the community on social matters.
